Komiks·Lab update 2026-09-29 — what changed
Update of · All updates
Short notes on what changed in the app for learning Norwegian with comics.
-
✅ Comics you have already passed now carry a “PASSED” stamp with a score out of 100: green from 60, gold from 90.

Reading a comic with audio -
🏁 A new results screen: a percentage ring that fills up in front of you, stars appearing one by one, a greeting with your name, a personal-best badge and mistakes shown as cards with a listen button.

💬 Conversation in Norwegian -
🏁 The Logic Race is clearer now: a “3–2–1–GO!” countdown, a line of rules before the first question, a visible “+1 step” for a right answer, a “you” marker on your lane and distance ticks on the track.

A test after the comic -
🖼️ Ninety-five more drawn icons instead of emoji: animals, rooms, school supplies, weather. 240 drawn so far — more batches are coming.

🇳🇴 Norwegian words by topic -
🔊 Sound in tests is fixed: in “What is this?”, “which word does not fit” and “match the word with the picture” the word was never spoken — now you hear it after answering, and immediately when you tap a word in the matching task.

Norwegian words by theme -
📱 The call screen now looks like a real phone: the bilohash network, clock and battery, large subtitles with a translation, evenly spaced keys and a separate red hang-up. A voice call no longer has a text field — it is a call, after all.

A conversation in Norwegian -
📲 The burger menu on phones became personal: avatar, profile, friends, messages and friends’ updates at the top, with the small icons removed — they live in settings.

Profile and avatar -
➕ When the three daily tasks are done, “Today” offers an extra task of your choice.

The plan for today -
🧹 The desktop header is lighter: words, maths, alphabet, numbers, help and the voice switch moved to the menu, the footer and settings.
