Short notes on what changed in the app for learning Norwegian with comics.

• 🧩 A new game, Crossword: words from one theme cross in a grid, and the clue is the translation plus an emoji. Recognising the word is not enough here — you have to recall it and spell it out, which is what fixes å, ø, æ and double consonants.

  

• 💡 There is a one-letter hint and a “show the answer” if you are properly stuck. Forty-seven themes to pick from.

  

• 💬 A new question type in the tests — “What do they reply?”: you hear a line and choose the answer from the same comic. Other questions check a single sentence; this one checks whether you follow a conversation.

  

• 🧩 And one more — “Which preposition?”: på, i, til, fra or med goes missing from a sentence. The options are always prepositions, so guessing by shape does not work.

  

• 📱 The “Correct / Next” box no longer grows at the bottom of the page — it slides up as a sheet. It used to make the page taller than the screen, so you had to scroll; now the question stays put and “Next” sits under your thumb.
