Update of · All updates
Short notes on what changed in the app for learning Norwegian with comics.
-
📖 Four new comics: “I am ill” and “At my place” (A1), “Offers and a loyalty card” (A2), “An allergy at a restaurant” (B1). Every line is voiced in Norwegian — 295 new recordings.

Reading a comic with audio -
🔤 Six new word themes: allergies and ingredients, offers and prices, rooms at home, when you are ill, cleaning and small repairs, neighbours. 124 words in all.

Norwegian words by theme -
🔀 A new trainer, Word order: you build the sentence from its words — exactly where Norwegian trips most people up. The verb comes second, and after an adverbial the subject and verb swap places. Half the tasks are those inverted sentences, taken from the comics.

📱 Reading on a phone now fits one screen, with no scrolling. The controls moved onto the picture itself: ▶ at the bottom reads the lines aloud, the arrows at the edges turn the panels, and the page numbers sit under the picture.

Numbers in Norwegian -
🔤 A line’s translation now appears right under the sentence instead of a bubble above it: for the first line you used to see only half of it. And tapping a word shows its translation again — on a phone it could fail entirely.

📖 Finished a story — “Take the test” and “Next” are right there: the next comic is picked by the level and theme of the one you just read. The home screen also got a button carrying the next story’s name, so you do not have to find it among eighty-one.

A test after the comic -
🙈 Once you are signed in, the comics you have done are tucked into the “done” filter so the list shows only what is new. One tap brings them back.

🔑 Without an account you can now take one test. After that you need to sign in — and everything you have done moves into the account: the stories you read, stars, your day streak and the words in your cards. Reading comics without an account stays unlimited.
