Komiks·Lab update 2026-11-04 — what changed
Update of · All updates
Short notes on what changed in the app for learning Norwegian with comics.
-
💬 The community chat is safer and nicer: before your first message you see the chat rules and a question about your age (you can write from 13; we do not store your date of birth). The filter catches bad words in 11 languages — even when they are written with dots, stars or swapped letters: instead of the message everyone sees “used bad words”, and the writing ban grows — 10 min → 1 hour → a day → a week → a month → forever.

A test after the comic -
✨ The chat now has an emoji panel, varied checks (counting, odd one out, sequences, sums), coloured names, comic-style bubbles and a rules board. Text is tidied automatically: no all-CAPS and no “!!!!!!”. You can befriend someone right from the chat if they allow it, and “Profile” only appears for open profiles.

Reading a comic with audio -
🎧 Support is now in Messages: describe a bug or an idea and add a screenshot (button, Ctrl+V or drag and drop). The answer arrives there from “Support”, with a short notice by email — and you can reply.

Flashcards with spaced repetition -
✅ We checked every test for questions with two correct answers: 13 grammar tasks were fixed, options that sound the same are no longer shown together, and “What is the reply?” no longer offers answers that fit anything. In settings you can turn off “Who said this?”, “Which frame?” and “True or false”.

Norwegian grammar -
↩️ The “Back” button now takes you where you came from instead of the home page. The English course, coding for kids and the app download pages are now available in all 10 site languages.
